Why Little Beetle?

The most beloved of all little beetles is the lady bug, sanctified in medieval times as 'the beetle of Our Lady'. Indeed, its smallness and harmlessness invokes in us a feeling of joy.

Friendly to the environment, little beetle is a fitting name for a cloth diaper line. The beetle's elytra (outer wing covers) trap in moisture and encase its soft hind wings and underside.

Note: We will have a new picture of the ONE Trim coming soon (which will be open as shown below). The picture below is of the original Little Beetle ONE with 3 layers in the body. Whereas, the trim has 2 layers in the body plus a uniquely shaped hidden soaker. The Trim retains our innovative semi-attached and foldable 'beetle' booster designed so the doubler when needed slides under and is held secure without snaps or other fasteners.

Little Beetle Homecoming

The Little Beetle diaper line is now being made in our own fair wage US facility just 5 miles from BFB headquarters.

Little Beetle Learners are still being made in India with our certified fairtrade cotton in a facility regularly inspected for its organic and fair labor practices. We remain impressed by their quality and workmanship.

Many of our Little Beetle Hemp diapers and some of our Little Beetle organic wool covers and shorts are still made north of Atlanta, GA by a work at home mother who got us started along with her friend.

We will continue to do all we can to contribute to the growth of fair labor practices both in the US and abroad.
