We are very careful to source from sheep which are never subjected to mulesing. Our fabric is also USDA certified organic (to food grade standards) which means not only rigorous requirements but also full documentation and regular, intense checkups for the farm, animals, and farmers.
Those positive features combined with the knowledge that the fabric contains no oil/petroleum derived products is why we call it conscious comfy :-)
